Youth volunteers leading disaster response in Myanmar
This document presents the results of a training on Youth Leadership for Disaster Resilience in Myanmar conducted by the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center and other organisations.
The benefits of training youth volunteers are the following:
- They will be able to help fellow community members in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.
- They have the task of building the community’s capacity to take measures to mitigate the impact of future hazards.
- They help mitigate the impact of a disaster.
