Connecting Business Initiative progress report 2017

The Connecting Business Initiative (CBi) Progress Report 2017 provides an overview of the achievements of the initiative and results of the first CBi Annual Survey. Whereas feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and based on experiences and lessons learned, we have also identified gaps—in addressing complex emergencies, measuring impact and exploring innovations. CBi engages the private sector in creating more resilient communities and meeting the needs of people affected by humanitarian emergencies. CBi was launched at the World Humanitarian Summit in May 2016 and aims to transform the way the private sector engages before, during and after crises.
