El CTRIMA constituye el órgano de gobierno y control (no asociación), a nivel internacional, facultado para regular y supervisar la constante aplicación y actualización de la Normativa básica oficial e internacional del Método Arcón para todas las especialidades de búsqueda y detección canina.
Constituye además una función esencial del C.T.R.I.M.A. la positiva coordinación operativa de Unidades Caninas Método Arcón ante desastres u otras situaciones, y la importante gestión del apoyo logístico conjuntado de respectivas instituciones siempre que resultase factible.
Formación de una o más, Unidades Caninas, Método Arcón en países con alto riesgo de ocurrencia de desastres .
Aprobación del Método Arcón por respectivos Gobiernos como el sistema oficial de formación e intervención para equipos caninos de búsqueda, principalmente en las naciones del Cinturón Circumpacífico .
Establecimiento oficializado de C.I.F.H.M.A.s, Centros Internacionales de Formación y Homologación Método Arcón en los diversos países de alto riesgo de desastres.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
