Bosnia and Herzegovina: National Report in preparation for WCDR (2004)

The war in Bosnia and Herzegovina has left the deep traces to public administration capacities to protect adequately population from consequences of natural and man-made disasters and major accidents. The main reasons for this are found in consequences of damages to protection and rescue system, i.e. civil defence, lack of funds, equipment, and low education level in general staff concerned with the protection of population from natural and modern technological disasters.
