The Nature Conservation Council of NSW (NCC) is a non-profit, non-government organisation representing more than 100 community environment groups across New South Wales, Australia. NCC is dedicated to protecting and conserving NSW’s wildlife, landscapes and natural resources and believes biodiversity is at the heart of addressing some of our greatest challenges, from climate change and water shortages to dealing with natural disasters, improving human health and building a sustainable society. The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
