The programme aims to introduce the students with issues of personal security and security planning and development issues. To enhance the learning experience students are provided with a field-based experience on matters such as microbiological water testing and remediation of earthquake-damaged structures. The program focuses on emergency planning procedures and of the role of the key agencies which work together in the event of national or international disasters such as floods, earthquakes, terrorist attacks and major accidents.

High school or senior secondary graduation. The program requires between 180 - 240 tariff points from at least two 6-unit awards or equivalent, one must be in mathematics, management, science or public services. Scholorships are available from university and other sources.
GBP 3145.00 per year for UK and EU students and GBP 8000.00 per year for international students. This fee does not include other costs.
