The course is designed for those interested in the environment, and especially the interactions between human activity and environmental response. This course offers a blend of themed modules addressing key aspects of emergency planning, disaster response management and risk analysis, alongside modules tailored to the development of key skills required in the field of environmental hazard management and policy.

High school / senior secondary graduation, 200 - 240 points at A level. BTEC National Diploma MMM, BTEC National Certificate - DD. 12 unit profile, At least two A2 level subjects, One A2 level subject plus one single award Advanced VCE, One double or two single award(s), Advanced VCE. Non European Union and international students can see further details at international admissions section. Applicants from non English speaking countries are also required to provide IELTS or TOEFL scores. Applications from individuals with non-standard qualifications, relevant work or life experience and who can demonstrate the ability to cope with and benefit from degree-level studies are also accepted.

University offer scholarships worth £1,000 to all UK full-time undergraduate students, where the principal earner’s gross salary is less than £60,000 a year. In addition to that there are 100 Excellence scholarships available in some specialist areas, worth up to £2,000.
