Certificate of advanced studies in disaster management
Geneva
Offering a wide range of specialised courses, the Centre for Education and Research in Humanitarian Action (CERAH) provides the opportunity for professionals to deepen their knowledge and skills in particular thematic areas of humanitarian action. The last decade has seen a marked increase in large-scale, “natural” disasters resulting in overwhelming challenges for humanitarian organisations, especially in urban environments. The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Disaster Management focuses on how humanitarian workers can better respond to such disasters by understanding the complexities associated with aid projects delivered in these contexts.
