10 UK credits (equivalent to 3 US credits and 5 ECTS credits)
This course explores how humanitarian organisations intervene in disasters around the world and builds you into a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, computer scientists and social scientists that can respond to humanitarian crises and/or foster community-led development in a culturally sensitive and sustainable way.
Students will learn from experts, visit partner institutions and benefit from challenging, interactive sessions that Coventry University has developed to educate the next generation of humanitarian practitioners.
As the programme is delivered in English, you will require a good level of English speaking, reading and writing skills. You must be aged 18 or above.
Due to changes in visa requirements, visas may take slightly longer than anticipated so ensure that sufficient time is allowed to apply. Visa advice can be obtained through the UK government website.
