The BCI Australasian Chapter is an approved local Chapter of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) representing the local interests of BCI members, and raising business continuity awareness and understanding in Australia and New Zealand.
The BCI Australasian Chapter’s goal is to “realise the vision & mission of the BCI in the Australasian region”. With this goal in mind, the Australasian Chapter seeks to promote learning and networking opportunities for BCI members and other business continuity professionals and to act as an advocate for business continuity issues in the region.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
