Paraguay: National climate change policy

This National Climate Change Policy outlines a framework to define activities to be undertaken by the public and private sectors and civil society for climate change mitigation and adaptation, while ensuring sustainable development. 

This policy aims to mainstream awareness of climate change across Paraguayan society and to promote the implementation of climate change measures that are consistent with national development priorities, under the framework of international climate change commitments.
