Consultancy for Final Evaluation of BRC's Haiti Earthquake 2010 Programme
This job posting has closed
Following the Haiti earthquake of January 2010, the British Red Cross, within the framework of the International Red Cross Red Crescent, supported the affected population to recover from the disaster in a number of ways.
In June 2012, the British Red Cross began a community-driven Urban Regeneration and Reconstruction Programme (URRP) in Delmas 19, Port-au-Prince. The programme adopted an integrated approach to promote the regeneration of the most affected and vulnerable communities, covering livelihoods, public health and sanitation, and urban planning.
As the URRP programme in Haiti comes to an end, the British Red Cross is committed to report, reflect and learn about its five year engagement in Haiti.
