This position will provide academic support to the Master of Emergency and Disaster Management course, and where applicable will support the delivery of the Bachelor of Humanitarian & Community Studies. The appointee will work with other staff in the Humanitarian and Disaster Management theme and key stakeholders to implement the curriculum and promote the full suite of courses in the discipline. With a strong focus on the University’s proximity to Indonesia, Philippines, Timor-Leste and SE Asia, there is opportunity for growing collaboration in research, education and practice in the humanitarian and disaster management field. It is anticipated that the appointee will have a research and supervision background and experience or deployment in the field.
