The C40 Cities Finance Facility (CFF) is looking for a video production consultant!
A critical barrier to sustainable urban development and local implementation of the Paris Agreement is insufficient access to finance for transformative infrastructure projects. The C40 Cities Finance Facility (CFF) addresses this barrier by supporting cities in developing and emerging economies to develop finance-ready projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase resilience in cities. In order to show off the impact of these projects, the CFF will produce several short videos including impact stories from some of its projects.
Project Scope
- One explainer video that describes the CFF, including what we do, examples of our work, and specific details related to COVID and inclusion/equity.
- Length 2 - 3 minutes.
- All footage provided by the CFF.
- Several (5-7) short videos that showcase our work in specific cities or themes (energy, adaptation etc). The style of these videos can vary from the explainer video above and include small animated elements.
- Length 10-30 seconds each.
- All footage provided by the CFF.
The following qualifications must be met:
- Experience editing videos, coordinating images and voiceover.
- Experience telling compelling stories to a public audience through videos.
- Experience producing digital branded content and social media-friendly videos for similar organisations.
- Experience producing video content from concept to completion including writing treatments, scripting and storyboarding.
- Experience editing video content including narrative assembly, audio mastering, colour grading, music licensing, motion graphics and implementing feedback.
- Proficiency working in Adobe CC including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Excellent English, written and spoken.
Submissions should include:
- A brief work programme outlining how the above requirements will be delivered on time and to the expected standard, and how the bidder proposes to work with and involve C40 Cities Finance Facility. At least two feedback cycles should be included.
- A cost breakdown that differentiates costs between the 2min video and the short 30 second videos. This should be inclusive of all applicable taxes and expenses.
- Details/Resume of the organisation or individual.
- A link to previous work/portfolio or at least four (4) relevant work samples.
- Any additional deliverables and/ or information relevant to this tender. Please see the link for more details.
The deadline for proposals is March 29th 2021, the consultancy will be one month long and finalize April 30th 2021. The budget for this consultancy is between 5,000 and 8,000 Euros.
