9th IIASA-DPRI forum on integrated disaster risk management (IDRiM)

The 9th IIASA-DPRI FORUM on Integrated Disaster Risk Management (IDRiM) will be organized by the Disaster Prevention Research Institute of Kyoto University (DPRI) in collaboration with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). The conference will also mark the launching of the IDRiM Society.
This year's conference theme "Scientific Challenges in Implementing Integrated Disaster Risk Management (IDRiM) in a Changing World" is motivated by the need to identify and overcome barriers to the implementation of disaster risk management in a systematic way and addressing the ever increasing challenges brought about by a rapidly changing world.
