Sakarya international symposium of earthquake engineering
Since one decade passed over 1999 Marmara Earthquake, the symposium subtitle is choosen as” The Learning Outcomes of Marmara Earthquake in the First Decade”. SISEE will be held in Sakarya University, Esentepe Campus, Turkey on October 1-2-3, 2009.
The major objective of SISEE-2008 is to share the outcomes of studies of civil engineering and relevant disciplines on earthquake engineering. Thus, this symposium is aimed to collect the work done by both resarchers and practitioners about Marmara Earthquake in the last decade.
Sakarya International Symposium of Earthquake Engineering is jointly organized by Sakarya University Civil Engineering Department (SAUCED), by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality and by Turkish Chamber of Civil Engineers-Sakarya Branch.
