To further develop Transparency International (TI)’s climate governance programme objectives and an attendant results-based framework, TI is organising a Climate Governance Workshop: Mapping governance risks, stakeholder interventions, and future actions. The workshop aims to scope out current and foreseen corruption and governance risks to be addressed in the governance of climate financing and MRV processes. It will take stock of stakeholder interventions to address those risks, and develop coordinated strategies or actions to contribute to improving:

- transparency,
- accountability,
- anti-corruption,
- public participation and
- public oversight in climate governance.

The Workshop invites contributions to our programme development, and offers opportunities to support the work of other stakeholders through our expertise in promoting civil society anti-corruption work globally. These objectives reflect TI’s commitment to work with key stakeholders to address priority climate governance issues and to support desired human and environmental benefits and safeguards enshrined in global agreements and declarations.
