Gender and disaster risk management: Module 2

The objectives of the training are to better familiarise disaster management officials and field staff with key concepts referring to gender equality and gender analysis, to follow-up on how participants of the Gender and Disaster Risk Management Training held in Nuku'alofa in August 2010 have utilized what they learned in the workplace and in their communities, to provide Pacific region examples and exercises which facilitate the practical application of these concepts.
