FEMA’s Youth Preparedness Council is a unique opportunity for a select set of youth leaders to serve on a highly distinguished national council, to participate in a community preparedness roundtable event in Washington D.C., and to voice their opinions, experiences, ideas, solutions, and questions on youth disaster preparedness with the leadership of national organizations working on youth preparedness
Citizen Corps and FEMA Region VII are coming to the Seattle, Washington, metropolitan area for a day-long workshop on implementing youth preparedness in community-based organizations, in Partnership with the American Red Cross and the U.S. Department of Education.
This workshop is designed to provide you with the information you need to start integrating youth preparedness into your organization’s existing youth offerings or to build a youth preparedness program from scratch.
