International courses on disaster risk management

This course provides opportunities for participants to share experiences and to analyze their DM and DRM efforts and to explore strategies that strengthen their work. The course covers conceptual understanding of DM and DRM, disaster risk assessment and planning, mainstreaming of climate change adaptation into DRM, disaster risk reduction measures and implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning. Each participant is expected to return to their work place with their action plan based on lessons learned from the course.
