The NHMA Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee is pleased to invite you to a webinar with Dr. John Kiefer from the University of New Orleans (UNO) regarding community disaster resilience.

Dr. Kiefer is an Associate Professor and Director, MPA Program in the Department of Political Science and faculty associate at the Center for Hazards Assessment, Response and Technology (CHART), UNO’s applied hazards social science research center. In addition he has implemented implemented the Hazard Policy specialization within the Master of Public Administration program at UNO.

Joining Dr. Kiefer is NHMA Executive Director Alessandra Jerolleman, who co-authored the book Natural Hazard Mitigation with Dr. Kiefer. After 45 minutes of presentation, there will be a 15-minute Q&A session.
