OECD-ADBI Workshop on Disaster Risk Financing in Asia

The OECD and the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), with the support of the Government of Japan, are organising a seminar on disaster risk financing in the Asian region. Debates will focus on:

  • Designing a disaster risk financing strategy
  • Country case studies – the development of disaster risk financing strategies
  • Managing public asset exposures
  • The special case of flood risk

This event will bring together government officials and experts from public authorities, including regulatory and supervisory authorities, ministries of finance, representatives from international organisations, standard setter bodies, the academic community, the private sector as well as NGOs.
