The Earth and Space Science Open Archive (ESSOAr) is a community server established to accelerate the open discovery and dissemination of earth, environmental, and space science research by archiving and sharing early research outputs, including preprints, presentations from major scientific meetings, and important documents of scholarly societies.
ESSOAr is governed by a partnership among the following societies:
- American Geophysical Union (AGU)
- American Society of Agronomy
- Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO)
- Crop Science Society of America
- Ecological Society of America (ESA)
- Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC)
- Soil Science Society of America
And
- Wiley and Atypon
Financial and technical support is provided by AGU and Wiley.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
