Civil Society Disaster Platform (CSDP) is a platform that aims to bring together under one roof all non-governmental organizations that work or have the potential to work in the area of ??minimizing disaster risks and responding to disasters. In addition to non-governmental organizations, the target audience of CSDP is public institutions and organizations, universities, media, private sector and international non-governmental organizations.
Established in May 2013 as a result of collaboration between Support to Life, Neighborhood Disaster Volunteers Foundation (MAG), and Mavi Kalem Social Assistance & Charity Association (MK), CSDP aims to decrease disaster risks and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of disaster response efforts.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
