Climate change: resilience, transformation and equity

This IPCC outreach event will showcase key findings from the IPCC Sixth Assessment and their significance to the Asia-Pacific region. SEI Asia Senior Research Fellow, Francis X. Johnson, will present on energy, industrial systems, and transformations in land and biomass use.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has completed its Sixth Assessment cycle with the publication of the Synthesis Report (SYR). In conjunction with the IPCC Scenarios Workshop taking place in Bangkok this week, a significant outreach event will feature IPCC co-chairs and authors, highlighting key findings from the report and emphasizing their implications for the Asia-Pacific region. This all-day event will take place on 28 April, at Hotel Pullman Bangkok Grande and will also be livestreamed for remote attendees.
SEI Asia Senior Research Fellow and IPCC author, Francis X. Johnson, will speak at the event on the topic of “Energy, Industrial Systems, and Transformations in Land and Biomass Use.” He is one of several SEI staff members who participated in the IPCC Sixth Assessment Cycle. The event will:
