Malaysia: First nationally determined contribution
In accordance with paragraph 2(b) of decision 1/CP.19, Malaysia submitted its Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat on 27th November 2015. Malaysia intends to reduce its economy-wide carbon intensity (against GDP) of 45% in 2030 compared to 2005 level. The NDC includes information on the country's climate change adaptation strategies.
