Trinidad and Tobago: Municipal risk profiles
This collection of risk profiles for Trinidad and Tobago aims to illustrate the risks faced by each municipality in the country. Each profile provides an overview of hazards, exposure, and vulnerability within a particular locale. It also offers a set of recommendations from improving gender equality and the welfare of vulnerable populations to strengthening governance and health care capacity.
The National Disaster Preparedness Baseline Assessment (NDPBA) aims to strengthen disaster resilience, avert catastrophic losses, and reduce human suffering associated with natural disasters in Trinidad and Tobago. The country partnered with University of Hawaiʻi applied research center, Pacific Disaster Center (PDC), to complete the project.
