This Climate Change Adaptation Plan and Disaster Risk Management Plan for Crooked River represents the eleventh deliverable under the project ‘Consultancy Services to Conduct Hazard and Vulnerability Assessments and Develop a Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) Plan for The Rio Minho Watershed and Fifteen Community CCA Plans’.
The primary objective of this consultancy is to reduce the vulnerabilities and mitigate the climate change risks in the RMWMU. The overall objective of this plan is to provide a framework for increasing the resilience of the community by reducing underlying risk factors. The Disaster Risk Management (DRM) plan framework developed includes strategic actions for prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
