The SFVC online platform can collect varied information about commitments that allows UNDRR to show stakeholders’ contribution to the implementation of the Sendai Framework. Along with this year's theme for International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, an analysis was done for Target G of the Sendai Framework (substantially increase the availability of and access to multi‑hazard early warning systems and disaster risk information and assessments to the people by 2030).

As of October 2022, 54 out of 102 VCs currently published in the platform address early warning as a theme and/or support Target G, involving 454 organizations. These VCs vary in scope with 17 VCs implemented at the global level, 11 at the regional level, and 26 at the national and/or local level. These 54 VCs also cover a range of hazards with floods (49) and earthquakes (42) covered by the greatest number of VCs. Overall, the VCs cover 17 different hazards, and 48 out of 54 VCs are using a multi-hazard approach.

39% of the VCs contribute to Target G and less than 20 per cent of the VCs contribute to each indicator. In addition, “early warning” is ranked 11th out of 33 themes and issues covering 34% of VCs.
