The programme is designed for Students who have completed academic work in fire protection, criminal justice, community services, environmental health and safety or other related areas to enter the field of emergency management and acquire specialized knowledge in emergency management planning, mitigation, response and recovery from natural or technological disasters. The programme enables students to enter and advance in the field of emergency management through the acquisition of specialized knowledge of disaster planning, preparedness, emergency response, mitigation and recovery. As a “Step-Up” degree, it is build upon strong technical programs. Service learning is incorporated in course work and joint projects with Government & non Government agencies.

All applicants from Ohio must have graduated from an Ohio high school or received a GED. Applicants under 21 also must submit a College Prep Form, ACT or SAT results, and transcripts from any postsecondary coursework. Out-of-state candidates will be admitted on the basis of their high school record and ACT or SAT test scores. For more information please see admission requirement section.
