Experto universitario en reducción de riesgos de desastres, resiliencia y cambio climático
Este Experto Universitario tiene como objetivo aunar los principales contenidos en torno a la Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres (RRD) y el Cambio Climático. El Experto Universitario trata aspectos que hoy en día resultan cruciales para el desarrollo de cualquier sociedad: los riesgos, especialmente los de origen natural y la resiliencia ante los desastres en el actual contexto de cambio climático.
Plantilla docente
Para el desarrollo de todos los contenidos del curso, el Experto Universitario cuenta con un plantel de docentes amplio y altamente especializado, sumando un total de 13 profesores y profesoras que pertenecen a 8 instituciones diferentes de 4 países distintos. Además, varios de los profesores son promotores de la Campaña ‘Desarrollando Ciudades Resilientes’ de Naciones Unidas, UNDRR.
Todo el proceso de enseñanza es 100% virtual, dicho aprendizaje tiene un carácter dinámico y se realiza a través de un aula virtual de la Universidad de La Laguna, en el que se combinarán muy diversos medios audiovisuales interactivos que hacen que el Experto sea un título universitario de vanguardia, no sólo en los temas tratados, sino también en el proceso de trasmisión de conocimientos. La impartición en línea permite al estudiante aprender a diferentes ritmos, adecuándose a todas las circunstancias del alumnado, independientemente de su lugar de residencia, del huso horario en el que se encuentre, o de su horario laboral o escolar en su país de origen.
Los contenidos se distribuyen en 3 módulos y un trabajo de Fin de Titulación:
Módulo de terminología, marcos normativos y reducción del riesgo de desastres:
- Epistemología del riesgo de desastres (1 ECTS)
- Fuentes de información para la Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres (1 ECTS)
- Marcos normativos y escalas de análisis (1 ECTS)
- Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres. Desarrollo sostenible, resiliencia y género (1 ECTS)
- Evaluación del Riesgo de Desastres (2 ECTS)
Módulo de amenazas y vulnerabilidad:
- Sistemas de Información geográfica aplicados a la Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres (3 ECTS)
- Amenazas geológicas y geomorfológicas (2 ECTS)
- Amenazas climáticas (3 ECTS)
- Desastres y cambio climático (3 ETCS)
- Amenazas antropogénicas (2 ETCS)
- Ordenación del Territorio y Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres (1 ETCS)
- Turismo, cambio climático y Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres (1 ETCS)
Módulo de gestión del riesgo de desastres:
- Intervención psicológica desde la resiliencia (1 ECTS)
- Preparación e intervención ante los desastres (1 ECTS)
- Alerta temprana y planes de emergencia (1 ECTS)
- Reconstrucción post-desastre y restitución de servicios esenciales (1 ECTS)
- Vulnerabilidad, Resiliencia y Gobernanza (2 ETCS)
- Trabajo fin de titulación (3 ETCS)
El título va dirigido, por un lado, a gestores técnicos y representantes de gobierno con responsabilidad en tareas de planificación y gestión de riesgos, emergencias y protección civil y, por otro, a personas en formación en materias relacionadas con la RRD, ya sea estudiantes o graduados de multitud de títulos, tanto de ciencias experimentales como de ciencias sociales, con inquietudes relacionadas con la RRD y el cambio climático.
Los criterios de admisión serán los siguientes en orden de prioridad:
1. Graduado/as o licenciado/as en títulos afines: Sociología, Psicología, Geografía, Biología, Ingeniería Civil, Ciencias de la Información, Física.
2. Graduado/as o licenciado/as en otras disciplinas.
3. Personas con experiencia profesional acreditada en gestión de emergencias o protección civil. Para la comprobación será necesaria acreditación o entrevista personal (vía telemática).

Se valorará experiencia en servicios de protección civil o defensa civil, servicios de emergencias, oficinas de planificación territorial o sectorial relacionadas con la gestión de riesgos de desastre.

Dentro de estas especificidades se priorizarán:

Las personas con título de enseñanza secundaria o Formación Profesional Superior (bachillerato en España y similar en el resto)
