This programme is designed to provide opportunities for learning of skills that can be applied to all hazards. Initially the focus will be on "natural" hazards - hazards related to the behaviour of natural systems affecting people and facilities. The objective of the program is to improve the use of science in hazard and disaster management decision- and policy-making.

BSc, BA (Geog), BSc (Hons) or BE/BE (Hons); or approval by course director. Proficiency in English (TOEFL, IELTS) for applicants whose first language is not English.

A completed application form, originals or certified true copies of university academic transcripts that list the courses studied and the grades achieved , originals or certified true copies of evidence of graduation, evidence of English language competence (if English is not the first language of the applicant), a summary of research proposal with the application for admission.
