Máster interuniversitario facultad de ciencias matemáticas gestión de desastres
Objectivos
Este Máster Universitario de la UCM y la UPM pretende dar una formación global en la gestión de desastres y emergencias. El marco de referencia se considera el conjunto de decisiones tanto políticas como administrativas y de intervenciones operativas que se llevan a cabo en las diferentes etapas de un desastre: prevención y mitigación (incluyendo análisis de riesgos), preparación, respuesta y recuperación. Está orientado a formar a los gestores con una visión global de los procesos que derivan en un desastre y en la reacción ante éste, siendo la gestión de la información para la toma decisiones un eje central en la formación. El Máster Universitario en Gestión de Desastres está incluido en la Escuela Internacional de Posgrado del Campus de Excelencia Internacional Moncloa, donde se impartirá íntegramente la docencia.
Destinatarios
El perfil del estudiante puede ser tanto un estudiante recién graduado, como un profesional que desee ampliar su conocimiento en el área. Se dirige también especialmente a quienes ya trabajando en un área específica de la Gestión de Desastres deseen adquirir una visión global de los procesos implicados y la toma de decisiones. Para facilitar el acceso de los profesionales en activo, el horario de las clases será de tarde (a partir de las 16 h.). Para acceder al Máster Universitario, además de tener en cuenta la legislación vigente, tendrán prioridad (pero no de forma excluyente) quienes posean un título de Licenciado, Graduado o Ingeniero en alguna titulación relacionada con: Matemáticas; Físicas; Geografía; Geología; Medioambiente; Medicina; Enfermería; Psicología; Políticas; Sociología; Agronomía; Forestales; Montes; Topografía, Geodesia y Cartografía; Ingeniería Civil; Industrial y Minas. Además, podrán acceder a los estudios del Máster Universitario, siguiendo la legislación vigente, los proOrientación: profesional Créditos: 90 ECTS (optativo hasta 120 ECTS) Duración: 2 cursos (3 semestres) Modalidad: presencial fesionales que hayan ejercido o ejerzan actividades profesionales relacionadas con las materias y contenidos de este estudio.
¿POR QUÉ ESTUDIAR ESTE MÁSTER?
Los desastres han pasado de ser de carácter local para ser entendidos globalmente en la sociedad. El análisis y la reducción del riesgo de desastre, el incremento de la resiliencia, las acciones de respuesta de emergencia y seguridad, son actividades cada vez más demandadas en una sociedad global. Por ello, las salidas profesionales del Máster Universitario son de muy amplio espectro, desde entidades de la administración (ayuntamientos, protección civil…) a organizaciones específicas de intervención en desastres, empresas de gestión de riesgos… El Máster Universitario pretende dar una formación global en la gestión de desastres, no existente hasta ahora. De carácter claramente multidisciplinar, aglutina el conocimiento proveniente de muy diversas áreas de conocimiento, algo imposible de lograr en otros estudios. Tiene un enfoque claramente profesional, con un Trabajo Fin de Máster de 30 ECTS, que dará la verdadera especialización al estudiante y será desarrollado preferiblemente en una entidad relacionada con este sector.
Estructura
El Máster Universitario se estructura en un Módulo Obligatorio de 45 ECTS, consistente en una introducción a la gestión de desastres (5 ECTS), un bloque de asignaturas de análisis de riesgos y amenazas (20 ECTS), y un bloque centrado en la respuesta y recuperación ante un desastre (20 ECTS). Incluye 15 ECTS de especialización siguiendo uno de los Módulos: Protección y Seguridad; Información, Logística e Ingeniería; Salud y Atención Médico-Sanitaria. Se contempla la posibilidad de realizar los 3 itinerarios para completar 120 ECTS. Finalmente, se incluye un Trabajo Fin de Máster de 30 ECTS.
