ADB Disaster Recovery Expert Pool

ADB is seeking disaster recovery experts (consultants) with proven sector or wide-ranging experience in one or more of the following:

1. Undertaking post-disaster needs assessments (PDNAs) or nationally adapted post-disaster assessments;
2. Developing government disaster recovery plans; and/or
3. Processing of ADB post-disaster assistance, including emergency assistance loans (EALs).

Once selected, the consultant will join a pool of experts to be rapidly deployed as and when required, subject to the consultant’s availability.

The objective of the assignment is to provide technical inputs in support of a PDNA, government disaster recovery plan, or the processing of ADB post-disaster assistance following a disaster event in a developing member country.
