Plan International is recruiting an M&E Manager for a 3 year accompanied assignment to join the BRACED Alliance DFID-funded consortium in Myanmar. The closing date for applications is 28th November.

DFID's Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) programme has recently been awarded, as part of the British Government's commitment to the International Climate Fund (ICF). As an INGO operating in one of the 10 prioritized countries under the call, Plan International was successful in securing BRACED funding for a project in Myanmar meeting the BRACED programme's aim of building the evidence on how to do resilience at scale, aiming to influence policy and institutional changes.

The BRACED programme has a particular emphasis on building the resilience of women and children to climate extremes. The BRACED Alliance M&E Manager will support and ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of the BRACED project and ensure learning from the programme is analysed, documented and shared. He/she will lead the Alliance's M&E work in close collaboration with partners developing systems and mechanisms for collecting data and information about project activities and reporting compliance to the donor and fund manager.

You will be an experienced M&E Manager with proven ability in planning, monitoring, assessing and presenting quantitative and qualitative data. With strong experience in DRR/ resilience/CCA programming and an excellent understanding of DFID logframe, milestones, Value for Money and you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of established resilience indicators (USAID, FAO, ISET, ARCAB, TAMD) and national and international resilience and climate change. Experienced working within multi-stakeholder consortia you will have an understanding of integrated development issues and be familiar with the history, dynamics and working environment in Myanmar. Fluent in English you will be an effective communicator and be able to build relationships and negotiate and influence at a high level.
