Major Responsibilities:

• Represent the Consortium.
• Support the Project Managers of each partner of the consortium to implement their component of the Action.
• Communicate and coordinate with donor, the government and other stakeholders on behalf of Consortium.
• Coordination at national level on behalf of the consortium on project related issues
• Facilitate the Project Managers on developing and agreeing the detailed Project Implementation Plan, identifying joint initiatives and monitoring the progress.
• Preparing the technical and financial reports to meet the compliance of the donor.
• Monitoring and tracking the overall budgets and activity plans of the project.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in disaster management, social science, applied sciences or any disaster risk reduction related field with minimum of five years international professional experience in disaster management
• Previous successful experience in consortium project management
• International experiences on successful DRR project/programme management
• Experience in coordination with government, donors and development agencies, partners and media
• ECHO experience and background preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills
• Familiar with development context of Nepal or other similar countries/regions
