Consultancy for Integrated Community-based Adaptation in the Mekong Delta

CARE is an international humanitarian aid organisation fighting global poverty, with a special focus on working with women and girls to bring lasting change to their communities. As a non-religious and non-political organisation, CARE works with communities to help overcome poverty by supporting development projects and providing emergency relief. We believe supporting women and girls is one of the most effective ways to create sustainable outcomes in poor communities.

In building evidence on what adaptation means for landless and land-poor in the Mekong Delta, Oxfam and CARE International in Vietnam are seeking 2 consultants (1 national and 1 international) to conduct a desk-based synthesis of lessons learned on climate vulnerability and capacity of landless and land-poor in the Mekong Delta, in particular women, from the Integrated community-based adaptation in the Mekong Delta (ICAM – CARE) and Partnership for equitable Resilience to the impacts of climate change of Coastal communities in deltas of Vietnam (PRC - Oxfam). The synthesis will also include detailed recommendations to inform future resilience programming and policy.
