Position Description
The Data Analytics Developer shall support RIMES climate product research and development activities, particularly in meteorological data analysis, algorithm development using MATLAB, and model development for reading and manipulating meteorological data in different formats. The Data Analytics Developer shall also involve in customizing, fine-tuning, and trouble-shooting existing codes, automation of climate modeling system, development of user interfaces, and shall support management of various types of meteorological data that are received from different sources.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, electronics engineering, or related field; in-depth knowledge in statistics and statistical analysis; knowledge of meteorology an advantage, but not required
Experience:
At least 2 years experience in MATLAB programming; experience in Linux/Unix and Windows platform; experience in handling different meteorological data formats (GRIB, NetCDF, Binary, etc.)
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability; English proficiency in communication, presentation, and report writing

Training on handling different data formats shall be provided to the successful applicant.
