Exact Job Location: Based in Faizabad, Badakshan Province North East Afghanistan with frequent field visits to Badakshan and Takhar provinces, Kabul and other consortium project locations in Ghor, Samangan, Sare-e-Pul, Balkh and Jawzjan provinces based on security clearance.
Reports To: Head of Technical Unit of Concern and also have a functional dotted line to the ARC Consortium Programme Coordinator (Afghanaid)
Responsible For: None
Liaises With: Systems Director, HR Manager and Country Finance Controller, Provincial Coordinators, Technical Support Unit, DRR Advisors of other ARC Consortium members
Job Purpose:
To provide technical advice and support to the Consortium members (Afghan Aid, Action Aid, Concern, UNEP and Save the Children) and partners in the implementation of Afghanistan Resilience Consortium’s “Strengthening the Resilience of Afghanistan’s Vulnerable Communities against Disasters project (SRACAD)“ funded by DFID and led by Afghanaid.
