The Department of Social Welfare and Development wishes to inform you of the vacant Executive Assistant III (MOA) at the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Visayas and Mindanao FOs.
Minimum qualifications and requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science or related disciplines;
• At least 1 to 2 years relevant disaster risk and reduction management work experience;
• Excellent English writing and editing skills;
• Fluency on oral communication skills in both Filipino and English;
• Excellent interpersonal, organization and coordination skills; and
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Specific responsibilities and tasks:
1. Develop/prepare guidelines/proposals and other technical documents pertaining to DRRM and other special concerns based on research and review of related literature undertaken;
2. Review documents, draft reports and official correspondence related to his/her assignment;
3. Coordinate the planning, monitoring and evaluation processes of a particular program/project as assigned;
4. Analyse data/reports and provide findings/recommendations to the Assistant Secretary;
5. Organize and document meetings and assume responsibility for follow-ups in the implementation of decisions/agreements;
6. Maintain and manage database; and
7. Perform other related tasks assigned by the Assistant Secretary.
