The Natural Hazards division of GNS Science is seeking a Geodetic Processing Specialist to oversee the operations of the satellite geodesy data processing systems.

Purpose of Position

This position oversees the processing of GeoNet’s GNSS (satellite geodesy) data, ensuring appropriate models and techniques are employed, robust and recoverable methods are implemented, and that GNS Science keeps up with or leads best international practice.

Requirements

• A post-graduate degree in geodesy
• Expertise in GNSS (satellite geodesy) data processing
• Experience with real-time GNSS systems
• An understanding of relevant TCP/IP networking technology
