Background
The position is in line with Oxfam’s Joint Country Analysis and Strategy (JCAS), the Mindanao Programme’s strategy and three-year operational plan, assist in implementing DRR strategies and relevant approaches by working with other programmes and Mindanao partners. S/he is also expected to contribute to the overall humanitarian and development programme quality including grant processes.
Responsibilities
• Lead operationalisation of the DRR strategies of Oxfam, responsible for capacity-building of partners on DRR-CCA, including mainstreaming DRR-CCA in sustainable livelihoods work in Mindanao
• Partnership-building and development around new actions, e.g., urban vulnerabilities; advocacy on DRR-CCA, including constituency-building, particularly at the national level, e.g., mainstreaming and institutionalisation in development plans;
• And sustaining knowledge management on DRR and CCA integration.
