alpS is a research and development centre headquartered in Innsbruck, Austria. In cooperation with a network of partners from science, business and administration, we develop innovative strategies, technologies and solutions for a sustainable climate change adaptation.
For our dynamic team of 100+ professionals, we are looking for motivated and resourceful Senior Researchers and Junior Researchers in the Fields of Environmental and Social Sciences to conduct applied research in the field of climate change adaptation.
Required competencies and responsibilities:
- M.A./M.Sc. or equivalent (junior researcher level); PhD (senior researcher level)
- Expertise in climate change and climate change adaptation research
- Project management skills
- Ability to work in team settings
- Excellent communications and writing skills in English; knowledge of German an asset
- Pro-active participation in inter- and transdisciplinary exchange within the alpS Centre and externally
- Publication of research results in international peer-reviewed outlets
- Commitment to acquiring external funds
