The College of Indigenous Futures, Education and the Arts delivers teaching in Higher Education (HE) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Research across diverse areas such as Humanities and Social Science, Indigenous Futures and Education.

As a VET Lecturer/Workplace Assessor – Disaster and Emergency Management you are responsible for the development and delivery of training whilst working under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the relevant Training Package. You will deliver training programs through flexible learning environments including, classrooms and/or other nominated teaching locations/workplace environments either on or off campus and remote areas of the Northern Territory. Experience providing training within a workplace setting or educational institution will be highly regarded. 

To be successful you must hold a relevant qualification in disaster and emergency management (or related area) and must demonstrate extensive relevant workplace experience. A qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or the willingness to obtain is a requirement of this position.

Crucial to this role is your passion for the sector, your engaging presentation style, and your enthusiasm and personal motivation to train and inspire students to succeed.
