Environmental geosciences and engineering survey for territory protection and population safety

The Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry for Emergencies of the Russian Federation, and the National Union of Russian Surveyors invite you to attend the international conference "Environmental Geosciences and Engineering Survey for Territory Protection and Population Safety" (EngeoPro-2011).

The ongoing global climate changes and the ever-growing technogenic load on the environment impels engineers to determine ways and methods of rational use of territories taking into account geological risks, to develop methods of engineering protection of territories and to ensure population safety from different natural hazards. The range of topics for discussion also includes the problems of engineering survey for providing territory protection. The socio-economic aspects of solving these problems will be also considered.

The IAEG Executive and Council meetings will be held in Moscow on the occasion of this conference, which attests to a high statute of this event in the international scientific life. In addition to a rich scientific program, the Organizing committee is preparing diverse socio-cultural events for the conference participants.
