Gogyoshi Art Project International is a non-politcal artist group which aims to close gaps between East and West by using Eastern poetry (gogyoshi-bun by Japanese poet Taro Aizu) to create art. By doing so, GAPI raises awareness about tsunami risks and the Fukushima nuclear disaster. GAPI also creates a worldwide network of artists. This resulted in exhibitions in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, England, Spain, Portugal, Macedonia, and South-Korea.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
