French studies related to climate change adaptation

Document prepared for the Side Event held on 11 December 2009, United Nations Climate Change Conference (Copenhagen, 7-18 December 2009):

This publication includes various national studies about adaptation to climate change. It illustrates the willingness of France to mobilize all actors in society, including scientific, institutions and civil society, in the debate about climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The findings are unanimous: climate change will severely impact territories - rising sea levels, increased probability of heat waves and droughts, increased frequency and intensity of natural disasters, etc.

This publication is developed as a contribution to the Copenhagen UN Conference on Climate Change (2009).
