Working together in Europe and the Mediterranean for the prevention of disasters, preparedness and response: priorities of action
Resolution 2010-1:
This resolution commits European and Mediterranean States to continue promoting disaster risk reduction – including prevention, preparedness and efficient response to emergencies - as a political priority at all levels of government and to advocate for the international negotiations to recognise the need to prepare societies to the challenges of increased risk from climate change and other phenomena.
The resolution was adopted at the 12th Ministerial Session of the European and Mediterranean Major Hazards Agreement (EUR-OPA), Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, 28 September 2010.
