Implementation of Outcomes of the Mid-Term Review of the Hyogo Framework for Action

Description

Discussions at this informal plenary will be guided by outcomes of the Mid-Term Review of the Hyogo Framework, specifically focusing on the implementation of key emerging priorities for the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction. All parties are encouraged to contribute and comment on the future of disaster risk reduction based on the outcomes of the Mid-Term Review of the Hyogo Framework for Action.

While leaving ample margin for delegates to make their contribution to the discussion as they deem most appropriate, it is suggested that the Informal Plenary sessions be organized around these cluster of themes emerging from the Mid-Term Review:

- Local, National and Regional level implementation of HFA
- Community Focus
- Cross-cutting issues (including gender)
